Yukos Oil Company
The Yukos Oil Company was created in 1993 and was until recently owned by the Russian billionaire and also by a couple of major Russian businessmen. Yukos Oil Company has gone bankrupt. The Russion billionaire Mikhail Khodorkovsky was sent to jail upon conviction. The Yukos Oil Company’s headquarter when operating was located in Moscow. In 2006 Yukos Oil Company declared bankruptcy. The logo for the Yukos Oil Company consists of only three colors that are a darker shade of yellow and a darker shade of green. The logo design consists three triangles one of dark yellow color and the other two of dark green color. These triangles are arranged in such a manner that they form one single triangle.
The name of the oil company is written below the triangle. The name of the company is written in simple and standard fonts with nothing stylish or showy. Even though the logo design conveys a strong corporate and serious visual appeal it is sort of dull and not catchy enough despite the use of a light color which is yellow for the top most triangle.
