Religious Logos – Taken God’s Message Further
Symbols have been an integral part of religions throughout history. The most common example of this is the use of the cross for Christ in churches across the globe. Symbols are often used to represent divinity as well as to deliver a deeply religious message. It happens to play an important role in most religions.
Most western dictionaries talk of religion as being a language based on concepts which are related to spirituality. Typically, religious logos give most importance to the structure of the design. These designs intend to give a concept as well as indication, sometimes, clearly evident and sometimes hidden, about the religion for which it is being made. A religious logo sums up the message, vision as well as the critical values of a church or synagogue and so on.
In this articles we intend to give you a peak into the most important and useful features of effective religious logos. The colors which are most commonly used in religious logos are black and white. Typically light and what some may call, calm and sober colors are preferred over others. The main reason for this is the fact that these colors give a feeling of peace, calm and harmony which in fact do a very good job at taking further and deeper God’s religion.
Keeping in line with the overall theme, most religious logos employ simple and occasionally bold fonts. The most common fonts used include Serif as well as the classic Times New Roman.
