10 Exciting Showcase of 2009 Logo Trends

Every year new trends are showcased in the design fields of textiles, fashion, graphics and also logo designing. Logo designers usually start their logo designs on the basis of these trends but taking them to different levels of craftsmanship and creativity. 2009 is expected to bring various variations in design trends. Here are some of most discussed 09 design trends in the logo design industry.

  • Classic Modernism

Classic modernism has reemerged in the designing arena since the late 2008. This design trend is more expressive of the logo purpose without portraying much. However, the use of classic modernism has often provided to be complicated and arduous but designers are contented to try it out again.

 
  • Typographic Logos

Even though, there are many design trends, the most popular one is the typographic logo designs. They are simply too mesmerizing to miss. Logo designs based on this trend can effectively convey the company to potential consumers.

 
  • Psychedelic Pop Backgrounds

The Psychedelic Pop Background trend has certainly made its way back onto designs charts as it comprises of contemporary shapes with psychedelic pop patterns such as these. The current MasterCard logo design is also a simplified type of Psychedelic Pop Background trend.

 
  • Puzzle Patterns

The best part about designing is that it has no rules. A unique design trend is of the puzzle patterns; however, the complexity of these logo designs is undesirable and require a higher attention-span of the viewer.

 
  • Arabesque

Calligraphy can make anything look beautiful particularly Arabic calligraphy. According to some designers, the harmony and connectivity of the design is always appreciated by viewers, although, logos can get complicated due to it. The solution is perhaps the answer to be unique.

 
  • Pictograms

In certain cases, designers are required to design logos as if it were a mathematical word problem. Designers have to look at meaningful icons, values of brands, massage and specifically your market position. Pictograms allow easy detracting, modifying printing.

 
  • Tactile

The Tactile logo has been designed better reflect on the literal meanings such as touch or invoking the sense of touch as well as logos than exist in material and which can be touched. The entire process can happen to be a huge challenge even for the most well versed graphic designers as they have to work with preferred software which allows them the traditional tasks of cutting, painting and pasting.

 
  • 80’s Geometry

The 80’s Geometry logo design is based on two window sills with upper case heavy fonts. Before, 80’s Geometry logo design used to be such a hit.

Origami logo designs are surely a great idea for corporate monograms as it prevents unnecessary creases and folding issues as a special type of paper is used. All corners are delicate and intricate and clearly show that a lot of time and effort has been given in this logo.

Graffiti and street art has provided you with a ton of inspiration from graphics made by hands and focus on urban populations.
