FIFA WORLD CUP FEVER

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

Football is the most popular game all over the and especially in Europe it has a craze for it. Football is commonly known as Soccer and the game which has passion and enthusiasm not only in playing but also for those who are watching. Now days FIFA World cup 2010 is going on with full flying color and joy and everyday we have lots of entertainment to be watched. This year Africa is the place where World cup is held and next venue will be Brazil. Today I have decided to share some history of FIFA World Cup with my readers along with the best players of Africa 2010 World Cup.

19th FIFA World Cup has entered in third round where eight teams will be playing in order to get into semi finals. This is for the first time Africa is hosting World cup and here is the history of FIFA world cup since 1930. In 1942 and 1946 FIFA world cup did not held due to World War.

Now first I will start with the history and here is the showcase:

History Showcase

Now let see some players of 2010 World cup.

1 Lionel Messi Argentina

On number first position I have placed Lionel Messi of Argentina and he is my favorite player and the best player in the world, and arguably already one of the greatest of all time. Some people say all he needs now is a World Cup winners medal and he can be named in the same vain as his legendary coach at Argentina. With huge question marks over whether or not Argentina are stable enough to win the competition, Messi will be looked on as the man to take them all the way and cement his name in football history forever.

2. Cesc Fabregas, Spain

3. Luis Fabiano, Brazil

Luis Fabiano of Brazil in action during the FIFA Confederations Cup.

4. Kaka, Brazil

Kaka is without doubt one of the best players on the planet. A dynamic magician who oozes guile and talent, Kaka is in line for another big summer with Brazil as they go on the prowl for an amazing sixth World Cup victory.

5. Sergio Aguero, Argentina:

6. David Villa Spain

Arguably Europe’s most potent striker, Valencia and Spain’s David Villa has enjoyed another superb domestic season, scoring an incredible 21 goals in 30 La Liga appearances. Usually deployed in a strike partnership with Fernando Torres for the national team, his intelligence off the ball and ruthlessness on it will make him a real contender for the Golden Boot in South Africa.

7. Robin van Persie, Netherlands

8. Wesley Sneijder, Netherlands

9. Lukas Podolski, Germany

10. Michael Essien Ghana

Michael Essien and Stephen Appiah usually provide a solid midfield base, and Essien may be fit in time when its team needs him more. Essien is well known around Europe and is regarded as one of the best central midfielders in the world today. His power, drive and relentless work-rate are some of strengths, running hard from box-to-box.

These are the players from the qualifiers of quarter final and I have also gathered some logos of world cup and you can see since 1930 logo has the importance in this game and you can have a look here and it starting in ascending order.
