Crazy And Creative Textured Websites

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

The topic which I am discussing today is the episode of texture related articles and in this post you will see something different because the theme is crazy but creative. Textures give life to your websites and they make them you to stand unique among all others. Technology has been advanced now and you can make design of your website according to your own taste and also can add material accordingly. I have tried to gather the website which are using textures as their main essence and comprising of unique designs. Textures in a web design have become a popular trend, replacing the sleek, glossy, and shiny effects that we commonly refer to as the "Web 2.0" design trend. Working with textures is difficult, but talented designers worldwide choose this route to add a depth in their designs and to exemplify their creative skills. When done properly, a texture used as a background can add depth and set the over all mood for a web design. Texture is obviously a common design element that is being used on a lot of modern websites. However, texture doesn’t always have to be a part of the design that stands out immediately to visitors. Light textures can also be used to subtly improve the design of the site.

Here is the showcase of textured websites and I hope you will like them:

Textures can add so much to a website, and they’re a pure joy to experience. Textures add subtle undertones that say, "buy me" . . . for instance, if you want to tell your viewers that it’s easy doing business with you, that it’s nice to visit and pleasant to buy here, you might want textures that make you think comfort, such as an old pair of jeans, or a hot cup of cocoa sitting on a grandfather’s worn desktop. Many of textured designs are reminiscent of old albums where you’re sorting through antique photos and letters. These kinds of websites take time to add the details, but its well worth it, because your user experience is positive.
