Creating the Perfect Logo Design for Aviation Industry
Airlines need good logo designs just as much as other business catering to customers. With each ticket costing at least $100 normally, traveling on jet planes is both an expensive necessity as well as a leisure activity to get away to holiday destinations.
It is often more of a hassle than a comfort to travel on board an international or even domestic flight. Given the extra ordinary competition from budget airlines and the intense competition in the industry, airlines are increasingly trying to woo customers with branding that portrays less hassle and more comfort than rivals.
Logos help airlines build a brand and thus a reputation for preferably efficient and better service. Airline logos are found on everything from the airplanes to other services as well as advertisements placed by airlines.
The three most significant aspects of an airline logo are color, font and style of the logo. Airlines choose a variety of colors depending on their background and the kind of customers they are most interested in flying. Bright as well as faint colors are used. In general the idea is to give a look that embodies strength and solid background. Other traits include prestige and elegance to cater to business class customers.
The fonts employed in a logo design for airline companies and the aviation industry in general vary wildly. Choice of typefaces can vary from bold, italic and contemporary to three-dimensional and abstract fonts. The font should be able to get customer attention quickly and efficiently.
The most important theme when it comes to logos in the aviation industry is simplicity. A simple logo does a much better job at making the company more memorable to the frequent flyer than a complicated one that’s hard to remember and distinguish from a distance.
