Best College Town Logos in America

Friday, March 19th, 2010

Can anyone give answer of that question, what are the qualities which makes a college best and great town? I believe to find out exact answers would be difficult but one thing is very much clear that college city is not equal to college town. Washington D.C and Boston are the satellite of two big colleges; Cambridge and Georgetown. For students who are coming from abroad and looking to study in America so it will be very much helpful and I hope it will guide you to make a good decision.

Let’s have a look on best college town’s logo in America:

Lawrence, Kansas

A community of just over 90,000 people, Lawrence, Kansas is the home of the University of Kansas.

Athens, Georgia

The home of the University of Georgia however, is also a first-rate college town.

Amherst, Massachusetts:

The Connecticut River Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts is home to five liberal arts colleges known collectively and quite simply as the Five Colleges. Amherst College is perhaps the best known of the five.

Berkeley, California

Over 35,000 students attend the University of California, Berkeley.

Boulder, Colorado

University of Colorado, is the leading institute in the town.

Princeton, New Jersey

In many ways, Princeton is the ideal college town. A throwback, if you will, to another era. Walk the streets of the Ivy League community and revel in the town’s indelible quaintness and rich heritage.

Madison, Wisconsin

University of Wisconsin-Madison is the massive school of the town.

Oxford, Mississippi

Far from the more famous and first Oxford is another gem of a college town. Oxford, Mississippi, home of Ole Miss and excellent cultural attractions, is a great place to live and indeed, go to school.

Hanover, New Hampshire

The venerable home of Dartmouth, a world class institution by any measure, is a quiet, peaceful community in the scenic Connecticut River watershed.

Austin, Texas

University of Texas Longhorns football (Hook ‘em Horns!), Austin is a dynamic college town.
