Beautiful Wine Logos and Label Design

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

Wine is the beverage which is mostly like by the people of Western countries or Europe. Companies are really working hard to make wine logos impressive in nature and not only focus on their design but also on their labels. There are many ways to create wine logos and it all requires good and unique ideas. Much of the enjoyment of wine is in the selection.  Whether you are a casual drinker or a wine connoisseur, the process of picking a bottle of wine is made more exciting by the packaging.  Wine labels that catch our attention are the ones with beautiful artwork, sleek and elegant designs or the clever use of humor. The design of a wine label can make or break the success of a new wine introduced to the market.  Even beyond the quality of the wine itself, the label plays a primary role in the purchasing decisions of customers.  It is on this fact that many graphic designers have focused their attention to making creative, compelling labels that connect a bottle of wine with its buyer.

Here I have gathered some wine logos and wine labels for my readers; let’s have a look on the list:

"Wine Label Design"

Some wine labels are incredible works of art. These labels are so beautiful; it can be a challenge for the wine to outshine its packaging. Let’s have a look on the show case now:

Meeta Panesar Wine Label Designs

Meeta Panesar’s wine bottle designs were created as an homage to the Op Art movement and the work of artist Joseph Albers. Panesar carried that Op Art tradition into these conceptual wine labels, some flush with color and geometry, others with tightly wrapped black-and-white lines. While Meeta Panesar’s wine labels remain a packaging art concept, we’d love to see his work commissioned and produced.

Honey Moon Wine

While we’ve never had the palette for sweet wines, this bottle by designer Lauren Golembiewski has our sweet tooth a-humming. Golembiewski created the Honey Moon Wine concept as an annual gift to past and prospective clients in celebration of a budding summer. The “honey moon” is the first full moon of the month of June, known as the perfect moment to begin the harvest of honey.

When design and function work in harmony, the effect can be incredible.  Wine labels that present the brand in an elegant and useful way are on target and connect with consumers. The choice of animal on the label may be used to convey a message about the wine.  Wild horses convey a freedom, perhaps a subtle symbol of the loss of inhibitions.  A great white shark can signify something far bolder. Wines that display colorful, gritty and slightly disturbing art on the labels are often hard to pass up.  The art may have nothing to do with the wine, but even with this complete disconnection it works.  So just to wrap up today’s discussion I would like to conclude that it all depends upon the color scheme and the art which is done over bottles to make the drinkers attractive.

I hope you like that and will be looking to hear from your end. I will appreciate your views. If you want another creative but inspiring list of logos and reviews of company logos, leave a comment or subscribe to our RSS feed. You can also follow us on Twitter and Face book ! :)
